GHITA celebrates BSL Act with the “NAME ME CAMPAIGN”
GHITA celebrates the 1-year anniversary of the BSL Act here in Gibraltar with the NAME ME CAMPAIGN.
Mandy Serra who has put the campaign together said “We really want people to engage with us and our Deaf community to celebrate BSL. Everyone can get
involved, whether they have signed before or not”.
Visit the GHITA YouTube channel and find a finger spelling alphabet video. This can show you how to spell each letter of your name. There is also a short video to show how to sign ‘Name Me’ and ‘Name You What’. Then simply video yourself, send it over to the GHITA Facebook page and share it on your preferred social media platforms.
Add a call out to challenge friends, family and colleagues by ending your video asking ‘Name You What?’ and keep the thread going with hashtags
